i got a 04 lly and i have tried two programmers a quadzilla and it was ok but not all that i currently have a bullydog and i have the crazy larry tune and its clean i want to roll some smoke,i also want to make good power i thought about the edge tuner but not sure i do want a on the fly tuner,i dont want to break anything im on 37s so i cant be to hard on it,and i have one more ? some guy keeps tellin me that my tranny will go into limp mode cause its stock but i pull 10,000pounds with it at full power and its never gone in to limp mode my last d-max with a banks tuner would go in to it every so often when u turned the power up in high gear i understand what limp mode is for but dont know y this truck has never had that issue,any thoughts

 

stop wanting to roal coal would be my first thought, it gets a bit old, if it's necessary or something fine, but just blowing smoke to blow it is dumb

no this isn't a cummins website, we like everything here even powerstrokes amazingly enough, but if you want lots of smoke get a PPE Xcellerator Hot +2 it'll smoke like a train with stock turbo and stuff, we're just not to fond of the whole I'm new to diesels and I want tons of black smoke because all black smoke is, is wasted fuel, unless you're at 1500+ hp and the fuel is actually used to create a cooling effect to cool egts, but like most of us smoke just makes EGT"s rise

 

im new to this site but not to diesels,i know all about what smoke is and i just want to be able to smoke out the rice burners at a stop light,right now my truck does not smoke with the crazy larry so i figure its not gettin its full hp,if the trans go then o well it will get a suncoast i like the ppe but want on the fly is ppe on the fly,what about efi live i have never messed with them how do they compare,i have 4inch ex and afe intake,and im going to do the bully dog tranny modd,any help would be great
