My truck "rolls coal" in that picture because its on a max effort tune, at the drag strip. Wanna guess how many times you'll catch me blacking out an intersection in traffic? Fawking never. I'll give the kid some knowldge when he comes on here and ask, how do I make my truck faster, how do I make it tow better, how do I make it drive better, get better fuel economy, how do I make it sled pull better. Those are all useful and they all contriubute to diesel motorsports. Rolling coal isn't a sport, its an idiotic pastime taken up by teenagers, and idiots who are the ricers of the diesel world. Sorry lifes harsh, and I will not tell an immature kid how to smoke out every road and intersection, so that smog laws get stricter, and more people have a bad taste in there mouth for diesel trucks after getting smoked out by this idiot.
I think you completely misinterpreted what I was saying. If "rollin coal" is all he knows, then he clearly is young, and uneducated, and doesn't know enough to ask those questions that you mentioned. All I'm sayin is often times people tend to jump the gun a bit when it comes to young members who don't understand that they're just wasting fuel doing that and forget that all of us were once young foolish.

its not just diesel smog laws off the track that they will be closing down but on the track to. and ya some smoke is good but like you said not five car lengths. hell we all own diesels and probily all pour the coal

I think there is a time when it's relatively appropriate, because what's the point of having 600hp trucks and living 150+ miles away from a drag strip or sled pulling place, it's kinda hard to keep away from blowing smoke occasionally, is it appropriate in the middle of rush hour traffic no, but it's fun to give 'er the onion occasionally and clean up the injectors, don't want carbon building up in em to much
He could have easily searched, saw that everyone who has asked about smoke has gotten flamed, and said to himself, maybe I should read up on this before I ask a dumb question, and slaughter the hell out of the english I use while I'm at it. time.As for the rollin coal, i agree with you on this issue. It pisses me off to see some diesel ricer smoking out intersections and pouring the smoke for no reason. I would rather have the smokeless andgive em the ole surprise when i smoke em on the street.
