whats the best programmer and intake setup for a 2005 duramax

Intakes are over rated on a Dmax the stock ones are good. The Predator is one that well liked really there is no best most powerful would probably be PPE.

x2 you dont need an intake, you actually loose power unless your making 500+ rwhp

some one needs to make an intake mod DIY on here....

And for a tuner PPE, or if you really want to go to town EFIlive, but you will need supporting mods for a program like that.

Yep yep...PPE, Quadzilla or Edge Hot are the most popular but if you're looking for the best off the shelf programmer for big power PPE cant be beat. If you have the tranny mods done and understand how to manipulate fuel maps, EFI Live is the big ticket for a DMAX but you better KNOW what your doing or you'll blow up an engine quick. There's lots of free tunes out there for EFI Live that will give you 450hp reliably and safely. Dont worry about changing the intake unless you want to hear your turbo whistle more. The factory intake out performs the aftermarket intakes out there.
