I got mine installed the other day too. Got the cool blue hose and the S&B filter. LOVE IT!!!

On a liter note. those of you who have a bodylift on your truck, the standard icebox will not work. I am going to head up to Icebox shop and we are going to design a box for those of us who have bodylifts. Don't get me wrong, the box is in there but some trimmin had to be done. I talked to Mark and we are going to get one designed. Will keep ya'lll informed.

Do you get any codes thrown that need to be cleared by the dealership with this application? My last truck did so...so much so that I had to remove the cold air intake and go back to stock.

Nope. Not on my 2007 5.9L

In fact, first I've ever heard of a Cold Air intake throwing a code.. (unless you forget to plug in the air sensor like I did, LOL!)

I notice you have a 2008 6.7L. Was your other truck a 6.7L also?

Give Chris a call (cbrahs here on this board) from HDR Diesel when you are ready to buy. He'll take care of you and answer your questions.

It was a Volant cold air induction system in the new ford. The service engine light came on all of the time and Ford would not fix it...they kept pointing at my cold air induction system...I eventually gave up and went back to stock. I just don't want to have to go through that again with another cold air induction system. I currently have the 6.7 and would like to add the cold air induction to it, but want to make sure no one else had any problems before I spend the cash.

I had a momentary lapse in judgement when I left dodge to get a ford. I'm back now however! If the icebox doesn't have any history of throwing codes in a 6.7 diesel, then I will probably purchase one. What's the best price I can get?
