the previous owner installed so many on my 93 he had to install another isolated battery for the trailer.....

They're mounted right to the body on that flat lip at the bottom of the cab/bed.

each light has 2 self tapping screws holding it on. I spaced them bout 16" apart. And there on that lip were the pinch welds are.
