CHICKEN LIGHTS/marker lights let's see some pics of em
I had to add that in there for people who don't speak hick, LOL. So let's see pics of your chicken lights you've added to your truck or others you've seen.

I don't think it's a southern thing really, more of a trucker thing. That's just what i heard em called growin up.

I'm probably way off, but I assumed the term came from truckers that were afraid or "chicken" about not being safe or at least legal with marker lights. |
u have to have alot of light on chicken trucks cause they chickens like light.

Chicken lights are put on the front of truck bumper to help the driver get as close as possible to an object before having to make a corrective turn or maneuver. The reason there called chicken lights is because truckers were/are afraid of damaging the nose of there rigs.
