Default 6.0 VG Turbo on a 7.3??

6.0's flow a MASSIVE amount of air and boost up fast all because of their VGT. Obviously plumbing one onto a 7.3 is probably more work than its worth but my big question is how could a fella figure out a way to rig a computer to control the vains? This also opens the door for bigger VGT's outa class 5 and class 8 rigs. Any ideas??

LOL... The stock 6.0 VGT turbo can barely keep up with a 6.0... Why would you ever want to install one on a 7.3...

H2e, S366, GQQSB or like T4 or T4i turbo and be done.

Im more just curious about controlling the variable geometry. I have a custom WOP GQSSB on order so no Im not wasting my time on this and yes theyre small but they do alot for their size, no not enough for a modded 7.3 . More just curious if you cud utilize a VGT (Such as one off a ISX cummins) on one or a S5000 or ... just a curiosity about electronics diffidently NOT a game plan

It would take way too much work to be able to figure out how to even control the VGT. It's not as simple as making it work, it's figuring out how to make everything else work with it.

I do know there were a few companies who were doing this for the 6.7 cummins VGT turbo's. Not sure how it ended up, but they were at least working on it. I saw some stuff on CompD a while back on it.

Just go with a S366 or H2e.. Would take to much work and $$ to get a standalone VGT controller to run the turbo.

You can get your computer tuned for the vgt turbo I am putting one on my truck and I am getting the computer tuned to take the turbo. Once this is done I will have almost an 100 hp increase

How and who do you think is retuning the computer to control a VGT turbo? What injectors are you running to get this so called extra 100hp?
