Dead 6.4 Help
background: 08 f350 4dr longbed 4x4 xlt. Spartan tuner, dpf/doc delete 4" straight pipe, afe dry filter intake. been running for about 5k miles with above mods currently about 15,500 on the truck.
problem: with 210tune last week I tried starting the truck and the fuel pump would kick on and seemed ok but wouldnt start and when that happened the traction control switch showed it was off and in the driver control center it showed the little trac contrl light on. also I dont know what its for but the bottom left of the idiot lights there is a red car with a lock thru it was flashing. I was able to reload the 210 tune and it started and ran fine. later that day while I was driving all the gauges went dead and the idoit lights came back and the truck lost power once again I was able to reload a tune this time figured it might be the tune and put in the 150 hp tune it ran fine all weekend. part 2: monday I was driving and it did the same thing gauges dead light on lack of power. only problem now is when I unplug the dashdaq from the truck gauges work again but still nothing. I tried running the onboard systems check and all is good so I plug the dashdaq in to try and pull codes and then the info center on the truck says check brake system/trailer control malfunction. but when I try to pull codes or load tunes it doesnt register that the key is in the on position. I cant even reload the stock tune to take it into the shop  -

check your fuses in cab and under the hood u have a blown fuse probably the cig lighter fuse -

that could cause it to not start or be able to pull codes and what not? -

not be able to pull codes or load a tune it uses that fuse to power the obd2 port and link the computer to the device will not cuase it not to start -

well I am plannin on trying to go thru all the fuse's and relays tonight hoping its just something dumb but not sure why it would act up one min then be fine and what not then finally kick the bucket. -

so I managed to some how get some codes out of it before it kicked me back out so here they are
P1000 OBD good P1260 anti theft security immoblized P1635 axle tire wrong or something think its from the oversized tires the inflate lights always on U0073 control mod comm bus A off U0101 lost comm with TCM before I could do anything it went haywire again and kicked me out also said task not finished -

So its got the dpf and stock intake back on it now so we will see what ford has to say come next week -
|
