Yup, though they are having troubles getting there programers in from a company, so they havnt shipped them out yet. A tuner and dpf delete from them is around $1000, and the 250 racing tune is another $150 or something like that. There test truck put down 500+hp, and almost 900ft lbs of torque to the rear wheels with just the tune, and dpf delete. Plus you can get a realistic 2-4mpg increase in fuel milage. They were saying there test truck was getting over 20mpg... -

sounds just about right, dmax does that with just a tune.

The LMM is getting in those numbers with a tune, and DPF delete as well I believe. So far they are about even. I remember hearing that with that tune, the Ford was pushing near 50psi of boost.

Nope. they are compounded I'm about 99% sure. The smaller turbo is just a regular WG turbo, the larger one is a VGT turbo. If they where parrellel there would be two boost tubes going into the IC, and there is only one coming from the bigger turbo...at least thats what I remeber the last time I took a look under the hood (which is pretty hard to do with all the crap in there ) -

Hate my 6.4
i bought an 08 because everybody around raved about their fords being one tough truck
only lacking in the motor department. Which the 6.4 was supposed to fix
well it blew up 2 weeks ago climbing the coquihalla highway!
had to have a trailer left on the top of a mountain and send another of my trucks to get it and deliver the product. So a paying run turned into a huge profit loss real fast!
Now to boot ford told me 3 weeks to look at it and when i made it there a week later it was still going top be 3 weeks before they were going to be able to look at any more extensively than they had.
i asked if i could have a listen to it so they started it up for me and its missing on 2 holes for sure and there is metal on metal (squeeling) grinding going on inside the motor.
so now i have a 70K paper weight!!!!!!!!!!!!! this will be the last ford i ever buy. mostly because of the hassles ive had with warranty. 2 radiators in 6 months and ford said they wouldnt warranty the second one, and they are already posturing to not warranty their PoS motor. if and when this does happen i will spend the money to put a cummins in the dam thing and i will paint it on the side of the truck and make them buy it from me at sticker price. my advice if you want a diesel for fuel mileage go get a chevy
if you want one to pull go get an 06 or very early 07 dodge
you want a pretty lawn ornament get a ford its going to end up there one way or another
either blowed up or the price of diesel is going to be to high to afford to drive it -

i got to ssay the ford is the collest lookin truck but if you want a new duramax they kinda look ugly with the huge body and wheel wells with small tires. but a lift kit and 35 inch tires will change that and will look pretty nice. -

I have actually seen a few trucks get two radiators due to the first one being replaced with one that was of the same bad lot. Also have heard tale of a few motors going south too. But even though you are upset and understandably so, wether its a Ford, Dodge,Chevy or Kia first runs are gonna have some issues and if you remember when the 6.0 came out you will realize that the 6.4 has been a pretty good sucess. -

the radiator thing i can deal with
i understand about outsourcing and sometimes they just dont stand up
the 6.4 was supposed to be the motor that addressed all the issues with the sick O
ive looked at alot of trucks and the dealerships are damn near begging to get rid of them
there has to 20 to 30 used 6.0's on every truck lot around

i got to ssay the ford is the collest lookin truck but if you want a new duramax they kinda look ugly with the huge body and wheel wells with small tires. but a lift kit and 35 inch tires will change that and will look pretty nice.

i dont get this
people everywhere are bitching about the price of fuel. but they will go buy a truck and basicly turn it into a 15 ft tall unaerodynamic brick!
and then complain more about the price of fuel
this is the way i see it and i may be a lil bit biased
but fuel is delivered by trucks that burn diesel. now the price of gasoline goes up so every joe bloe goes and buys a diesel pickup hikes it to the sky and gets 7 mpg so to say.
driving the price of diesel up due to more demand. THEREFORE causing the trucking comapnies to have to raise their rates more to deliver the fuel causing everyone to bitch more. it used to be commercial use and retired people touring around in their pushers that drove diesel prices
now diesel is outrageous and it is driving up the cost of everything. because if you got it a truck brought it. -

you have a point but the oil companiese just turned out there biggest profits in company history in 2007. lowering the prices a little wont hurt them and if they continue to get more people buying diesel that should drive down the price more too -

ill keep you posted
right now they are asking for all the maintinence records so im working on sending them off to to them. its just posturing to get out of it

a few things i know about the fuel mileage out of these things is they started putting on a larger chin spoiler (under the bumper) gains a little bit that way
and from ford people i know around here ford is awaiting epa aproval for regen during idle delete
something along the line of at idle and in regen mode they will burn just as much fuel as going down the highway at 55 mph -
