Bubble 6.0 Top Fuel Filter 1/2" O-Ring ???? HELP !!!!!

I need help dudes. I was changing the fuel filters in my 03 6.0 and found a broken O-ring in the 'fuel bowl' TOP 4 micron filter housing. The o-ring is about 1/2" (NOT the cover O-ring). If anybody can verify where it goes, if it's an OEM part or best yet, send me a parts diagram for this housing/regulator I would really be grateful.

My AutoEngenuity program says my pumps is running 99.9% and my fuel pressure at the housing tap is 50 PSIG. I "THINK" the O-ring is letting fuel bypass but need advie or a drawing to confirm.

Thanks in advance !!!!! -

Picture of said O-ring please?

It may be the O-ring from the inside of the old filter.

Look inside the old filter, there should be a back o-ring right at the top.

Measure your fuel pressure at WOT in 3rd gear, unless you have the proper bypass tool for checking 6.0 fuel pressure. -

YOU were dead on my friend. Except I found more.......

Apparently the last time the sdealer serviced it they crushed the filter in. It didn't line up in the notches and I found that the plunger (stem) was broken off and rattling around inside my old filter

THANKS for your time !!! -

I am so tired of hearing about dealership hacks...they make ALL the dealer techs look bad.

Sorry to hear about that. -
