Default CRUISE CONTROL NOT WORKING

03 crewcab F-350 6.0 diesel, 6-speed manual. Cruise control does not respond to the steering wheel buttons anymore.

Where is a good place to start looking for issues?

Thanks much.

Do you have an ABS light at all, If you do check the sensor on your diff, and there are two on the front brakes one on each side if they break you wont have any cruise.

Default Cruise control not working

Thanks for the tips, Guys. I searched through my Ford shop manuals and could not find the sensors and switches that you all have mentioned. In the "speed control" section all it does is show the various plugs and pins and tells how to check things electrically with a VOM. Is there a diagram anywhere showing where the various sensors and switches for an 03 6.0 diesel are located?

yea thats what I got too. I know on my 05 there a sensor on the rear diff on top, and there are one on each front wheel you can see them towards the cab. Thats a 3 circuit system and I think they are from 2, 3, and 4 circuits.

Default Cruise control not working

Tried a couple of tests on the brake sensor on the master cyl and tried all of the KOEO steps in the shop manual. Nothing lights up the cruise control light on my instrument panel.
Because there are a number of sensors in the circuit, it looks like I am going to have to go through the entire electrical check list for the CC system as spelled out in the shop manual.

Unless someone out there knows some sneaky ways to test the clutch position sensor, etc etc without going through the huge electrical check list.
