Default Hot to bleed clutch slave cylinder? '88 7.3

I changed out my slave cylinder and clutch hose yesterday, and I'm not getting enough clutch pressure. How do I bleed the line? There are no leaks and the fluid is full. Also, does this application use clutch fluid or brake fluid? What's the difference?
