Default 2006 Ford 6.0

I was got to the end of my road and the truck would not take off. I heard a sound like wires frying. I did get the truck to turn around to head home. I have to give it more gas than normal. The batteries went dead. This is my work truck I haul for a living and need some Ideas on what to do. I am going to town to buy new batteries now. Could it be the TP sensor. Thanks for any help. I have replaced the EGR Valve and EGR Cooler the Turbo is only about 2 months old. The truck is stock I haven't added anything. Can't afford to after all the problems.

I put new batteries in it. Ordered the TP sensor. Ford garage it sounded the the tp sensor. Lets hope so. I have to leave for Canada Monday with the truck.

Not the TP sensor I changed that and does the same thing. I checked the codes and it says Exhaust gas recirculation control circuit. whatever that means. Can someone please give me some input.
