yes it is necessary or your truck will run like crap, you have to take your injectors out of your truck then take your injectors and new nozzles to a fuel shop and they will replace your old nozzles with the new ones and pop test them to make sure they are at the right pressure and then you put them back into your truck and VVRRROOOMMM

what crack pressure are they supposed to pop at? at school we have a fuel room and theres a machine that can test the pop pressure of big injectors like out of a cmmins m11 or n14. im gonna have to ask my instructor if it would work for mine and get it done for free. i just have no clue what pressure there supposed to pop at
