Default P0243 Fault Help

Hey has anyone had any experience with the P0243 Code? It's a Turbocharger waste gate malfunction A code definition. I've got the stock Turbo no motor mods besides an intake/intake elbow. Dealership has been no help and i can't find and info online. Just joined looking for help and more info on future mods.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Oh and the boost is down to around 22 pounds when it was running 30-35 before the fault. Also running a Smarty S-06 Tuner

Sounds like the wastegate solenoid is at fault.

Is there any way to check that besides replacing the solenoid?

Turn the Ignition on, engine not running.
Disconnect the Wastegate Solenoid harness connector.
Connect an incandescent test light across the supply and driver pins at
the Wastegate Solenoid harness connector.
NOTE: The ECM will perform a self check of the circuit after
approximately 30 seconds, which should light the incandescent
test light.
Does the light illuminate brightly after 30 seconds of being
connected?
Yes >> Replace the Wastegate Solenoid.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 1
(DIESEL). (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL
MODULES/ENGINE CONTROL MODULE - DIAGNOSIS
AND TESTING)

I'm not sure if you got a Cummins shop near ya, but I'm pretty sure they got the solenoid (Holset is a Cummins subsidiary). Cheaper than the dealer no less.
