Default Need info on oil and filters

Im due for an oil change on my 2001 cummins.

Ive never changed it on this truck an was wondering what kind of oil you all are running in your trucks? What brand?

Also what weight fluid in your rear differential?

Also what brand oil filters?

And lastly what filters do i need for the airdog fuel system?

Thank you.

Pretty sure it's all 80 90 and of you have a limited slip diff you need the additive. Switching so I can go longer between change intervals.

I run Mystick Syntetic Blend, or rotella T it depends if I make it far enough to buy the mystic oil. I run the Napa Filters which are either fleetguard or Baldwin Filters, I buy them when the store here has their filter sale and can Get them for 4 bucks instead of 13 bucks a piece, and I change My oil at 5000k and its 80-90. Make sure when you refeill the diff that you jack oneside of the truck up a bit so you fill the axel wells.

Ok ill just stick with the rotella like i do in the ford.

Tip the axles side to side? Or front to back?

Are the airdog filters any better? Or are there exact filters?

Yep, just jack up one side so its higher than the other, then drive a lap, and check it and you should be good. Ive heard good things about valveoline. You can but the Blue Rotela T6 I ve heard goodthings about it! but its pricey..
