Does it come on when the dash does a bulb check? If not, it may just be a burnt bulb.

I installed am amsoil bmk22 oil filter system I can carry 4.5 gals. of oil now instead of the 3 gal. it used to carry... the oil is now being filtered down to 2 microns it has a full flow filter and 2 bypass filters that filter all the oil in my engine every 10 to 15 mins.
this is my first diesel .... and I'm trying to learn all I can !!!!! again thanx for the info

when you turn the key on you should be able to hear a high pitch ringing sound for 5 seconds which would be your grid heater working its below intake manifold
