wait to start light
I noticed my wait to start light is not coming on before I start my 5.9 cummins... I have a 1999 dodge with a 24 valve cummins... I am new to all this and I would GREATLY APPRECIATE ALL THE INFO I CAN GET !!!! Thank you all so much !!!!

Does it come on when the dash does a bulb check? If not, it may just be a burnt bulb.

thank you for the info i will check the bulb !!!! I hope that's all it is.... so far I believe I got a good deal it's only has 180k on the odometer... I installed am amsoil bmk22 oil filter system I can carry 4.5 gals. of oil now instead of the 3 gal. it used to carry... the oil is now being filtered down to 2 microns it has a full flow filter and 2 bypass filters that filter all the oil in my engine every 10 to 15 mins.
this is my first diesel .... and I'm trying to learn all I can !!!!! again thanx for the info |
i checked the bulbs they appear to work .. i switched them around and there was no diff it doesn't come on when do the bulb check.... I'm finally getting ready to check further... got any ideas ??? thanx :tu::humm:

when you turn the key on you should be able to hear a high pitch ringing sound for 5 seconds which would be your grid heater working its below intake manifold
