Okay so Iv heard about sliding my stock fuel plate forword to gain some HP. How easy is that to do? and is there any problem by doing this and or need to buy anything to make it a safe so I dont hurt my truck. Im trying to do cheap to free upgrads to my truck. is it worth it to slide up? Im also going to get rid of my Turbo silincer can someone inform me on these and help me out thanks.

The silencer ring won't do anything to hurt your truck it just makes it whistle more so it sounds a little cooler. The plate is easy to do and if your using your stock plate and just sliding it then it probably won't hurt your truck but idk. Unbolt the intake horn. Then there are 4 bolts hold the AFC housing which is where your wastegate is hooked in on your pump. One of the bolts has no head so use a chisel to punch in spot to get a flat head screw driver in. Undo those 4 bolts and you will be looking at your plate held by two bolts. Just loosen them and slide it and put it back together.

Ditto on Big *****...Get the gauges! there is a possibility that you could over temp the engine and melt the pistons. Now this prob wont happen 100 or even 90% of the time, but I know of at least 2 guys who took their plates out with intentions of buying gauges later and bought gauges and new pistons later! Just a thought and my $.02

Not what I would do! waste of money to buy fuel plates when you can make any plate out there yourself. And why do you say you have no use for gauges?
