fuel plate?
i was just wondering what the actual difference is between the different numbers of fuel plates? and which would be the best # for an increase in fuel mileage and a little increase in power? im not interested in making it smoke anymore. right now it has a 100hp fuel plate. idk what number that is thats just what the guy told me when i bought it. any info would be helpful thanks!

the different numbers are different cuts on the fuel plates. different cuts fuel more or less at different points as the arm rides across the plate. a very commonly used fuel plate would be a #10 as it's not as drastic in fueling and yet is more than a stocker. as for gas mileage, simple things such as adding more air thru a free flowing filter, opening up the exhaust for less restriction, bumping your timing, correctly calibrating your fuel pump and keeping your foot off the floor all help and are a starting point. if you search for fuel plate, you will probably come across a diagram that shows a couple different cuts on plates in blue, green and red colors
