Default low exhaust temp question

I am new to diesel engines and just built a 12 valve with a 58mm turbo and 75hp injectors. Stock fuel plate (for now) all the way forward. I have a bad intercooler hose clamp and most of my boost is leaking out. New clamp in the mail but my egt doesn't get above 500 degrees. I feel like even with my issues that is extremely low. Also, my fuel pressure is about 7 psi at idle. From what I've read i feel like that is also extremely low. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That EGT and fuel pressure are both extremely low. How does the truck run?

Lower rpms is a little rough and it seems like it's giving outa little early in the upper rpms but pulls hard in the mid range.

Sounds like a genuine fuel issue, but all bets are off until you get the boost leaks squared away. Where are you measuring fuel pressure at?

Fuel inlet at injection pump. I'm new to diesels and turbos so I'm kinda lost but I'm thinking with no boost that cylinder pressure is lower than it should be and is causing the low egts but I really have no clue. I read several places that the stock lift pump would support my setup but have no clue about that either.

It would if it was working properly. It may be about to die, or you could have an air leak in the line somewhere.

I will check all the fuel lines. Should have boost issue fixed on Thursday or Friday. I will update my progress then.
