Default Low Boost Psi?

I'm only gettin 22 pounds of boost out of my stock 07 LBZ turbo? i have an edge juice w/attitude, intake and 4inch downpipe back exhaust. If im not mistaken I could get close to 30 out of it before and i havent done anything to the truck lately that should have done this..
Air filter's clean as a whistle
No obvious boost leaks
Sounds normal
Could it the be Variable Vane's sticking? This is what im kinda thinking is happening because the truck has 70k miles on it and I'm just getting to blocking off the EGR and re-routing the PCV this weekend ( i bought it used or this would have been done long ago )
It just seems to me that if the vane's were sticking it would throw a code though, and im not getting anything when i check the codes using the edge.

Am i missing something? or does anybody know if the truck is supposed to throw DTC's when the vanes stick?

Any advise is much appreciated
