looking for more black smoke what is the best injectors for a stock truck and fuel pump

 

it would be much easier to tune it, you can do it sitting on your butt and press a few buttons a boom more smoke.

swapping injectors isnt too bad on a lbz though... compared to a lb7

 

i would pay some one to change the injectors. i dont whount a tuner b/c my dad said i couldent had en performance stuff on the truck

 

Put a rag in the airbox infront of the air filter.. that'll give you more black smoke.. or unhook one of the IC boots..

Black smoke is not cool.. It just means you are injecting more fuel than your turbo can light. It wont make you any faster.


There are alot of small things you can do to an LBZ that will increase the lifespan of the truck, and make it perform better. They dont smoke much even with a BIG tune.. Its not a cummins bud.

Along with a good free flowing exhaust, your truck will run great.

 

thank you for the information. the reason i wount more black smoke is on the last day of school me and my friends are going to burnout in the parking lot at the high school thats why i whout more black smoke to make my truck look the coolest.

 

you can put injectors but they aint cheap. and even then it wont smoke alot unless you get at least 50% overs.

 

what hosepower injectors like 25 or 50 hp. my whount let me have a tuner he cant the injector why i whont injectors

Again bud, the cummins injectors are measured in HP.. With the Duramax, its what % over stock they are.. 50% over injectors would be like 225 HP .. and it still wont smoke much.. not without some tuning..

 

Where are you located in Arkansas? I can recommend a shop to have your stock nozzles extrude-honed. But without some way to program more fuel you are wasting your time and money IMO.

No need to touch the motor just to make smoke. For less than half the money (and a lot less time/hassle) than it would cost to do injectors, you could buy EFILive and flash in a smoke tune that will make waste all the fuel you want. Then re-load your stock tune. It is tuning software - nothing to mount in the truck.
