Default 89-93 Dodge SRW Dana 70 Rear Axle-Northern California

Looking for a 89-93 Dana 70 for a dodge w250. Single rear wheel, 35 spline axles and 4.10 gears. A rebuildable axle would be acceptable if it was priced right. I'd consider anything inside of 500 miles or Sacramento. Thanks.

AFAIK the only 35 spline axles in the '89-'93 Diesel era were for the Cab and Chassis 1 ton axles, which were dual rear wheel.

Otherwise they were 32 spline.

I'm sure my truck is not dual rear wheel and it really looks to be the original axle. Title and vin say 3/4 ton. It does have a flatbed though, maybe the drw were an option?

If the axle is retained with NUTS, it's likely a 35 spline, if it's held on with BOLTS it's a 32 spline.

Keep in mind, a lot of the pre '87 axles were retained with nuts, so if your axle has been changed it could have nuts holding the axles in.
May of the pre-'88 axles were 30 spline, even with the nuts.

Also, if it has an ABS sensor in the top of the axle, it's at least an '88.

Mark.
