I need a 12v front timing cover for the conversion from ve to p-pump. any help on this would be appreciated. also have some commonrail parts that i can trade if you'd rather do that.

 

This same cover is from the 24V also if it makes it easier to find one.

 

IIRC, there was someone on Ebay selling NEW ones for @ $125.

I might have misunderstood.
Do you need the COVER or do you need the GEAR CASE that the injection pump mounts to?

I just looked the gear case up on Ebay and I was wrong, it's $160, but with free shipping.

i'll need everything for the conversion i believe. but i may have found a complete motor.

 

That's the best way to go.

I recently bought a '97 180HP version with a bad turbo that had bottom end issues, but all of the injection and intake stuff was included, even got the throttle cable.

Cost me $575 and I have a scrap very early "53" block, plus a damaged head to off for cast iron.
The crank, surprisingly, is actually undamaged.
