small block chevy

just need a small block chevy motor for my s-10 project, in time it will have a 383 in it but don't have the $$$ for that right now. thanks in advance

Carburetor style I assume? Looking for any thing special, like 4 bolt mains?

yeah i want carb, and don't care too much as far as the 2 or 4 bolt main, i just want a motor that runs really

i will try and get ahold of them, could always use a spare, found just a bare block the other day and turning it into a 383 stroker as we speak

gonna run some nos, maybe a blower down the road but don't have the cash for it now, puttin a fully forged bottom end in it, crank, rods, pistons, what piston is best to run nos with, like a dish, dome, or what?
