Default Diesel Motor

Im looking for a 4bt cummins or a 6.2 an put a 6.5 turbo on it. I am wanting to do the 4bt more just cause ive heard good stuff about them. But i CANNOT find these motors anywhere. Im in Charleston SC so if anyone knows of anything PLEASE help me out. THANKS and im trying to keep the money lowww.

i have a 6.5l long block with only 40K miles on it with a 6.2l intake and injection pump that runs perfect its a complete engine. im in CA so it would have to be shipped freight. let me know if your interested

What year and I was kinda looking for a 4bt or 6.2 but I could work with a 6.5 and why the 6.2 intake and injection pump?

because it was a 6.2l truck and all we could find and the time was a 6.5l long block so we used what we could. everything bolts right together its pretty much a 6.2l with the slightest bit bigger pistons and whatnot

buy a 6bt and put in it instead alot more power and lots more mods you can do cheaper!

Diesel is the most common used for every motor because I've also heard other than that but diesel is still rocks..

Go onto www.4BTswaps.com there are always some for sale at reasonable prices.

Also if you are worried about paying for shipping is should not cost anymore than $450 to ship it across the US at the most.

A complete, sound, RUNNING Cummins VE pumped 6 cylinder can be had for around $1500, with front and rear Dodge accessories.
I just sold a runnable CORE 4bt for $1300 and it had NO accessories, front or rear.

You can get deals on the 4BTs with all accessories, once in a while, but expect to have around $2500-$3500 into one, and that's if it doesn't have an inline pump.

It's not like a 6 cylinder won't fit in the behemoth HE wants to re-power it with, anyway.
