looking for the computer, the thing on the passenger side under the hood behind the air filter with 3 plugs. the truck is an automatic, 4x4.

So, you need a Federal Auto PCM. I will check on it in the AM and get ya a price!

 

whatever that thing is that controls the transmission, air conditioning, alternator, tach, speedo, etc....

we know that it is bad because we have swapped it with another trucks and the problems moved with the bad pcm. the good pcm worked in both trucks.
