I'm in need of the bottom shaft out of an NV4500 2wd dodge or chevy, I believe they are the same. I also can't afford to pay to much though. If not then maybe somebody has another tranny for kinda cheap. My third gear broke all the teeth on top and bottom shaft but i got the top gear. I sure hope somebody can help me out.

 

just to let u know there are 2 different gear sets that could be in there. the difference is in the reverse gear ratio but it takes a different countershaft and if u try to use the wrong one it wont work. pm me for more info

 

the 3rd gear in a chevy is different ratio

 

didnt know that thought you'd switched the 3rd gear in them before. Got the countershaft coming for it for 200 bucks not bad.

 

u can change it but u have to change it on the counter and main shafts. makes the split between 2 and 3 a little more and closer 3-4
