I got a quadzilla adrenaline. You'll need a map adapter to run it on your 98.5 cause it's off an 01.

Unless I am mistaken that won't work. The 98.5-2000 had a different voltage for the MAP sensor and you will set overboost codes IIRC.

I have a used Diablosport Power puck. Great shape, $100 shipped and its yours.

 

I sent an email to Quadzilla to see if it will work on a 98.5.

You can purchase the MAP adaptor to work on your 98.5 truck. You would also need to purchase the Data Link adaptor as well. The 98.5 and early 99 trucks have a different style Data Link than your 01 would. The MAP adaptors are $15 and the Data Link adaptors are $10. There is also a jumper on the Adrenaline board that must be unplugged in order for the boost to read and work properly before installing it on the 98.5 truck.

 

Very nice! I knew there was a voltage difference but its cool that they got around it that way.
