Default WTB: Set Of 16" Dually Wheels For Fire Truck

My Fire Department just received a really cherry '96 F350 4x4 dually grass rig. This thing is super nice except for the steel wheels that someone tried to paint red. They look terrible. So we're looking for a set of chrome or aluminum 16" wheels to put on it. Let me know what you got! And as always, donations are kindly accepted! But we'd be willing to pay if we had to.

We might have to end up doing that. I was just hoping we could find some chrome or aluminum ones. Thanks for lookin! I see in your avatar your department initials are MFD, ours is the MFD also, Mullinville Fire Department. I also see the star of life, what certification do you hold. I just completed the First Responder class and am going to take my EMT-B in January.

That last set with the holes sure would look sweet! I'll have to talk to the guys and see how much money we have in our "secret account." I doubt I could get the county to spend it....espically since the tornado wiped out the county seat.

Aight, we've got a new plan. We are now looking for 4 steel dually wheels that we can powder coat mirror black to match the water tank on the back of the truck. We need a set to swap out because our truck can't sit that long without any wheels on it. Let me know what you got. Thanks!

Thumbs up DFD

Hey there I'm with Deland Fire/Rescue in Deland, FL. I just finished a first gen D3500 refurb. Converted it from a utility bed cascade truck to one fine as hell Brush truck. The truck has been in the dept since new in 1973. It only has 17K original miles on it. We just opened our third station and needed a brush truck. The city wouldn't purchase one for us so I asked if I could convert the unused cascade truck. They unbelievably not only said yes but gave me a 21K budget to do it with. If your intersested I can get some pics and post them for you to see. We did a 6" lift, 35" BFGs, on polished MT aluminum rims, polished diamond plated skid with tool boxes and a 200 gal. Tank with electric hose reel, Polished aluminum front bumper with brush guard. Whelen strobe lights on top and sides and rear. It's truely a sweet truck... Let me know if you want to see pics. Later, Sixpack, Engineer/EMT, DFD

Powdercoat the rims red and put a chrome center cap on it.
