Blueprinted Injectors ???
My new 2 liter AAZ TD in the 1981 Caddy, is working fine, but I forgot the injectors in my rebuild and just used a set that was laying around. In the past, I remember an ad for matched "blueprinted" injectors, which would seem like a good match for my Giles pump. Does anyone still offer such a thing?

Sorry I can't help you, but I do have an 82 caddy that I love. I just went trough a tank of fuel with the gps and figured up to be right at 43 MPG. Have you got on www.vwvortex.com . There is a lot of info in the forums there.

Sorry I just checked back on this thread. I dont really know what kind of info you are looking for, but I'll put some stuff out there. I believe mine has a 1.6L NDI diesel. They are very slow to the go but will get you there cheaper. They are pretty reliable. My first one was a 4door rabbit that had about 350,000 on it when I sold it. The truck I have now has around 200,000 on it. they crank up usually within 1 second unless it is cold. Then it might take a couple. the only real problem I have had is that the vacuum pump needs rebuilt every once in a while which is around $25.00. And the motor mounts can go bad. It hardly uses any oil and rattles like it is going to fall apart. Like I said above I average around 43MPG. I have a 15 gallon tank and I fill up Once a week putting about 8 gallons in it, which keeps my fuel bill under $30. It is a very simple design and the only truck I know of that is front wheel drive. I pull small trailers with it, and the bed is full length just not full width. My air will freeze me out and the heater will burn me out. Sorry if I rambled just typed as it came to mind. If you want to know anything else just let me know.
