Whats out there to beef up the trannys in these things my sis has one and wants a box and sticks she has the gauges already

The trans will hold some extra power. How much power does she want?

she was thinkin like a box and exhaust and a air intake and guages and maybe a turbo she is a speed freak like me

It should hold just fine. I'm 99% sure they use the same trans that they use behind the 1.8T and 2.8VR6. If you PM me your VIN I can see what trans you got.

i know the diesel trannys are much more beefy then the ones behind 2.0's, the diesel tranny is an upgrade for them gasser jetta guys

What year? The tranny will hold the power. What will not is the clutch. You have to watch for clutch slippage. A box will put the clutch at the limit.

The clutch is a DMF if it is newer then '01 I think. I know for sure that '02 - present is DMF.

I know a fella that put nozzels in only and it was to much for the clutch.
