I have a buddy with a bullydog that I am trying to talk into something else. Is the EFI Live a programmer or strictly on laptop? If it's laptop, then there is no way he will get it.

EFI is not a labtop. You do need one though. Your labtop is used for scanning and tuning. The V2 or V1 box you buy from EFI is basically an interface between your trucks ECM and your labtop. They are working on making it a stand alone setup. Hope this helps.

Sure does. I think that my buddy isn't computer savvy enough to get something like this. If something like this is ever released for the cummins, I think that I would be forced to run it. Thanks for the help.
