Turbo Sock Pics and Info
Figured I would post up some more pics and info for some of you guys that aren't sure exactly what it is I do.
Basically I make heat blankets for almost all of today's diesel's. Manifold blankets, turbo blankets, hot pipes, etc.
All the blanket are 3 layers, 1/2" thick, rated at 1800* continuous, and short excursions to 3000*. I have these on dozens of 1000+hp sled pullers and drag racers and have never gotten the blanket too hot to touch with my bare hand. Even after a 2000* pass, the blanket will feel like laundry fresh from the dryer.
With each blanket, you'll see a couple different benefits. Lower underhood temps, lower intake charge temps, lower wide open throttle EGT's, quicker spool up, and sometimes a couple psi of boost. All these vary slightly between each different trucks setup but you'll always see them in some quantity.
I can also do custom blankets in just about any form of the word, if you don't see something listed for you application, call me, with just a couple measurements I can usually get something worked out.
Here's a couple pics.

Glad to be here. Spool up wise it won't be a huge difference on a hx35, boost will hit harder when it does come on though. When you lay on it to pass is where customers usually report the notice it most, boost hits harder and earlier. You'll still also get the lower underhood temps, and your EGT's will drop at cruise and wide open, normally anywhere from 50-150* on a stock charger.
