thats going to depend on the org that you pull with, i have even heard of some places allowing up to 64mm S300 chargers. so i would dig a little on their rules maybe even post them in here. but we can do some interesting stuff in a "stock appearing" housing, just finished one today for a dmax and its closer to 2.8 but its stock appearing and plugs the stock 63.5mm bore
Ive checked local organization rules and cant really get what I consider a solid answer. I like the gray areas when it comes to rules but dont wana show up and not be able to run.
Well, I got back on the work stock rules to post and looks like they have updated them for 2012. Says you can run any oem turbo and swap from diff. makes and models. They used an example of a d-max turbo on cummins or vice-versa. Guess that answers that.
the street class up here in ontario, you can run a big single but no twins, the pro street diesel class is allowed to run a 71mm single turbo an truck has to be liesenced for road, its just the street class you dont need a member ship like pro street or pro mod classes
