Default Pulling with a stock truck...

Just wondering if it is even worth paying the entry fee to enter a pull... I know I'm not gonna win but just looking for some fun. Maybe get some better tires or somthing. Will it be worth it?

If you can afford the fees and you have fun then yeah it's worth it. It will also give you a baseline to work from in the future. It's kinda like taking a stock or slow truck down the drag strip, you're not going to impress anyone, but you may have fun and learn a little about your truck in the process.

I was under the impression they had a "stock" class or something like that.
I have considered doing it for the heck of it just to see what my truck can do but there are no pulls in my area that I know of.

Cool... how quick will I start to break stuff? Will the stock Auto @ Stock Power hold up to a couple pulls?

Should hold up fine. It's when you start throwing the power to them or long mountain passes overloaded that bad things happen. With a stock trans and figuring you're only going to be pulling for a matter of 10-20 seconds it should hold up just fine.

If it starts bouncing, QUIT RIGHT AWAY! Thats how parts get broke. Just try to be smooth.
