Default A-team pull van

Well I didn't see any restrictions on what kind of vehicle or fuel type we could post but here you go....

So we bought a van

1989 B350 1 ton
9.25 HD rear axle
5.9 V8
727 TF

Was a nice van for 350 bucks....

But fawk that we can take it to truck pulls next weekend!

Need to trim the fenders for the 35's
(dont use a torch, the insulation inbetween the panels lights on fire) :smokin:

Took it on down to the shop to get some work done by some of our sponsors

Borrowed a new set of 4.88's

Then a vendor supplied the Detroit Locker...................Lincoln chipped in too

Hellwig kicked down with a leaf spring eliminator kit!

Bell Tech lowering division wanted in on the action too

Size: 45.0 KB

Magnaflow heard about the build up also. Free cat delete kit!!!

We got hooked up!

A-Team'd out! :mr-t:

Then we threw 3 Eaton Fuller transmissions in the back

Started test runs on the street but sheared the stock engine mounts apart

So 4 or 5 blocks of fire wood and a ratchet strap from Home Depot fixed that....(pics later)

Got some brighter red

Those were some nice black chrome rims

It made it maybe a third of the way? I was only planning on pulling the sled 5 feet. Got the entire crowd cheering when I pulled on the track, then after it blew, got a standing ovation! More people cheered(or laughed) for us than the Big Bad Dodge pull truck. Just awesome. Friends got video but I'll have to round it up. And the 150-300 shot of nitrous caused a nice explosion and fire.

P.s. They didnt even tech anyone this year, you could have had a rocket in the back window and it would have been let thru.

Next year we're building a wheel stander for the crowd

So the massive weight over the rear end blew through the trex :homer:

I must admit that I had never even thought of this. I am a bit jealous that I don't have one. Awesome job, keep up the good work, great project. You get thumbs up from me.
