If you want to pull it....yank the auto and throw the NV4500 behind it!!!! The allison is a good trans...but its gonna be EXPENSIVE to build it up to pull with it!!!!
if you can get it for say $5K or less...Id buy it, but there are a ton of trucks on CL right now for less, and you can DRIVE them home! Trust me Im building a puller now and Im looking constantly!
Matter of fact....ditch the NV4500.....just donate it to me!!!! I need a drivetrain BAD!!!!

With what is listed, there is no way that truck is pushing that much hp. If you could get it cheaper, you could really have some good power. It won't be cheap to build that motor though! There was one in Florida for sale a while back for $4000. It didn't need a thing. I think that you should keep shopping!

370 injectors and full cut DV's with the right pump tuning and timing and a 62 to 66mm turbo "could" make 580hp, thats a good bit of fuel so its not impossible. the mod list seems incomplete, like the guy doesnt know whats in it. What I see missing from the list is things like valve springs, governor spring kit, and a fuel supply pump.
I never heard of a "60 series phat shaft" but there are 62, 64, and 66mm versions, and any of them could be used to make 580hp.
but that fact that its a stock tranny makes me think that it doesnt make that power or it HAD a built tranny and the guy stuck a stock one back in it.
Find out what the turbo specs are, and if it has any other mods, as well as find out where he came up with the 580 number.
