Default Puller Newbie Question - Rules ? for local event.

So they have some stock 4x4 pulls @ Yankee Lake Truck Night. I want to give it a shot since its only 10$ per hook. The rules state "6800 lb (max) gasoline street stock 4 X 4 truck & 8500 lb (max) diesel street stock 4 X 4 truck". So is that GVWR?? Since i have the 8800# GVWR rating does that mean i cant run... OR are they saying the truck can only WEIGH 8500# at weigh in??

The link for the event is here... Truck Night at Yankee Lake: Schedule under July 16th... If your local you should attend!

Thanks everyone!

Yes its a stock trans... That's why I wanted to do a run for fun.

I'm assuming if I were to run then I shouldn't turn my Adrenaline up very high? To save the trans.

What really needs done t the trans to make it strong? Is it a ton of $$?
