Default Pulling my 06 dodge for the first time this weekend

Im pulling my 06 Dodge 3500 this weekend for the first time. Ive pulled before but this is my first time with a manual tranny. Just looking to see if anyone has some thought on 4-high or 4- Low and what gear use suggest. any suggestions would help me greatly.

well you should have 410's for gears so 4th low is what i would try first, you should be fine with that with what you have done. If your clutch has been in a while then utilize it to its fullest potential, and rev and slowly let out to get you moving, just make sure you dont leave early before your rpm's are up so you stay under the turbo, but since its the stocker you should be just fine.

OH AND DONT WATCH YOUR PYRO!!!!!!!

Mount Joy, Pa...would you be going to the buck?

Use 4th gear, 4-low range whether you have 4.10 or 3.73. its the best over all gear in the 6spd.

When you get hooked up to the sled point your drivers mirror so you can see your rear wheels.

Bring your rpms up to about 3500 and slowly but steadily start to let the clutch out, you will hear the motor start to load and the truck will begin to roll, watch your tire and about the time you make a full revolution you should be all the way off the clutch. You shouldnt slip it for more than about 3-5 seconds (it happens quick)

Here is a video so you can see about how far I let it roll before the clutch is all the way locked up.

bring it up and I'll guide you through it. It will all depend if the 4 mounting bolts will come loose. I'll be up there at noon the sooner you get there the better
