i'd say your answer is already in this thread. results are greatly dependent on traction and how well it's matched to the performance of the pulling truck.

Weight distribution, suspension loading, final drive ratios, tire pressure, track condition relative to tire grip, tire tread design, driving style, driver ability, ground pressure on driving tires relative to total weight of truck......

In any form of racing, set up means more than power output, always has, always will, and whoever says otherwise loads up on the trailer early more often than not.

Hell many times too much power equates to less performance if the track can't hold the power, regardless if your set up is on the nose or not.

But me thinks you already know this by the tone of your post.

Different weights on the sled for the different classes... The goal of seting up the sled is to bring most of the class to a stop around the 200-300 mark... At least thats how all our local classes are.

I here ya p.c.p.c.

By the way fullpull how much $$$ do you have to donate to the new lex ffa for them to not put the box in gear until the 75' mark. Thats right I know your secret now after watching a video of that pull when you supposedly beat tthomp. You make it look easy when the box doesnt start until you get half track.
