Default Pulling Questions.

ive been around tractor pulling all my life, and just recently got into watching truck pulls and i am wanting to pull my truck either tomorrow or saturday at the local truck pull.

i was looking for some tips on how to start the sled off without killing my clutch, its stock now it kinda slips sometimes under a hard mash in like fourth or fifth gear.

my truck has a custom ground 0 plate 3/4 forward, starwheel 3/4 forward, pre boost screw all the way in,cold air intake and a 4 inch turbo back exhaust and it is a five speed.

thanks for any help provided.

Don't slip it to much, try low range 2nd, MAYBE 3rd.

Have fun and be prepared to put in a new clutch!

You will get hooked.
