ur numper works as a bump stop, but i doubt u get it moving fast enough to get it to hit ya unless the weight dont move like its supposed to only seen it do that twice one the same truck, same night, and no one else had a problem with it doing that.

for suspension stops i removed the factory rubber ones and used them for a pattern to make mine. I took a 1/4 inch plate of steel and marked the holes using the factory rubber stops as a template and then welded a piece of 1/4 inch c-channel to the plate. I'm making new ones out of 3"x1" box tubing with 1/4" walls.

I ran 4lo 3rd gear the first couple of times but, I ran out of rpms quickly. I was running a 62mm turbo too. After that I ran 4lo 4th. The biggest thing is just to have fun!

I would run 4L 4th with 3.55s and 285s. Get some 125hp injectors and a clutch and you will have alot of fun.

I would stronly recomend putting some sort of driveshaft loop & u-joint shield. If you have ever seen one come apart you can apprecitate the concern for the saftey of the spectators. If you are planning on doing a couple of events anyway it is well worth the piece of mind.

Also maybe explain somewhat how to go about pulling with the truck, gear to use, how much to slip clutch, 4L or 4H and which gear to combine it with, that kinda stuff.

i already know what the motor needs done and theres a SBC DD going in this spring.
