Default New Texas Pulling Association

We are in the process of launching a new pulling Association here in Texas. Let us know what you guys are looking for as far as a pull goes. There will be no more of pulling until 3 a.m. with little payouts. We are trying to get the purses as big as possible with a well organized event. We most likely will be using NADM rules and scheduling around the TTTPA for those who would like to pull in both organizations. We are contemplation a 2wd class for you two wheelers as well. Please post up what you guys want here or privately.

TDTPA Home Page

Thanks, Kip.

We're planning on it at this time. Austin, San Antonio and Houston are being looked at closely.

i read about this on cummins forum. this is going to be a good association from the sounds of it. i don't pull, but keep an open class in there and maybe allow hood stacks and hanging weights for most classes? some people think its not fair in certain classes but if its allowed for everyone then its not unfair since they had a choice and decided not to use weights and stuff. just make sure its safe. i like the open classes for the guys that just wanna figure out what they have, but may not have all the safety gear for the big competition. good thing y'all are doing here and whatever happens i will be at these events hangin around dan and the crew!!!!

we have a meeting tomorrow to talk about the open class and such. We did find out that we are not going to be able to run nitrous as we had hoped. It seems the insurance is almost triple the amount if nitrous is allowed in any of the classes.
Start building guys we are going to make this as puller friendly as possible with the best payouts we can. The more pullers the better the payout !!!

I don't see why CO2 couldn't be used. We should have a rough draft of the rules sometime next week hopefully. For fuel is definately a no.
