i pulled my bone stock 96 dodge 3500 for the first time on 8-8-09 at a track in the midwest i have a 5speed with 354 gearing i pulled in 2nd low lock pulled 272.3 i jerked the chain when i took off think it was cause i was nervous being first time it was alot of fun didnt break nothing wish i would have pulled in third instead for more speed didnt run out of power rpm was around three grand the other trucks running were not bone stock fist place was 292 i took third dont think bad for fist time

 

that at good pull for a bone stock 12v. need to look into an 4" exhaust and sliding your stock fuel plate forward, and adjust the afc on the pump and pull the turbo ring and cai.

 

ltr450 whats a cai i know what your talking about on the other stuff it has been straight piped for several yrs how far should i slide plate forward might have another pull in a couple weeks any more info would be helpful

 

Congrats man!!! How many trucks were there in your class?

 

the cai is and cold air intake. and as far as the fuel plate slide it all the way forward and back it off 1/8 of an inch that should get you another 50hp or more. these old 12vs are easy to get power out of. make sure you adjust the afc to there are some good writes on here with good pics you should have no problem doing these mods your self

 

cool deal it is easy to get hooked after the first time you hook to the sled do you have any pics

 

take the fuel plate out and tune the afc congrats on your first hook. now its in your blood
