Default How dumb would this be?

I got a pullin question here. I am considering entering a sled pull end of Aug, in the work stock class. Here is is the question, I got the stock cluch, no traction bars, or bump stops. Should I enter, or would I be better of waiting awhile and get this stuff done first.

Run Low Range 2nd gear if your clutch is weak already, or 3rd gear if you want a good pull. If you feel the truck start to hop let out. Above all dont worry about how you do just smile and have fun! But be warned... One time and you will be HOOKED!!!

Well I never pulled before and I am already hooked. Trust me I am not worried about how far I go, just want to have fun. Thanks for the gear set up there, I am sure my cluch is pretty weak, its got miles on it. I am shopping for a new one so I can put some power into the truck. Hopefully by next year I can have a pretty good truck and some experiance.
