Information Brandons Power Stroke Wins Truck Pull

(From the Archives - 11.01.02) A few weeks ago we showed and told you about Brandon Mojarro's 2001 Ford F-250 Power Stroke 4x4 shortbed pickup and how well he was doing at local truck pull competitions with a Banks PowerPack and Level 5 Big Hoss chip being his only engine modifications.

Yeah I'm with you...

I particularly like thsi part

03 Dodge modified by Diesel Dynamics with bigger fuel injectors and several other modifications, was showing off a dyno sheet stating 400+ rear wheel horsepower.
My how time have changed... If you went to a pull now adays braging about 400 HP they would laugh you off the grounds!

That article goes to show you how much Banks knows about sled pulling and how awesomm they think they are! I like the pics of teh sled... "This one is near the end because the slaed is on the ground"... ummmm... no... the pan has not even dropped... And then the "this one is in the start see how the sled has not dropped yet." thats because the driver jerked the crap out of it and picked the front up.

Yup, the picture commentary is priceless.... The Ford that won In that pic they said it must be at the end of the run because of the lack of wheel spin.... The weight box is still back by the operator... Just some useless propaganda... I honestly haven't been to a pull in a looooooooooooooong time with a Ford diesel winning it.

Last year I saw a 06 3/4 ton Hemi out pull a Banks powered Duramax.
And the last pull that I saw a ford win was when thier were no Dodges entered

Looks like Banks knows as much about sled pulling as they do marketing an affordable product!

I was just happy to see someone from my friend Melody's home town Bishop win a sled pull. 7.3 L was a good motor compared to what i am reading about the 6.0 and 6.4 though.

However..

I will say that's not so much an article as it is shameless promotion of a high dollar product. Not saying the product doesn't work just stating the obvious
