Captn.............the design of yours I like best, I do alot of structural welding and can see that the gusset is well thought out

Looks good, only thing I wpuld think about is making that brace smaller so it will tuck up under the truck more

Whitmore- Thanks alot, I love big beefy steel. Everything is triple pass welded so I hope it wont fail.

Rswords- I was thinking the same thing. I know that is gonna be more leverage on the rear than I will proberly want. I think I am gonna go with it, and see how the truck handles it. I am making some suspention stops right now.

everyone please remember when welding anything over 3/8 inch thick please bevel the edges to maximize penatration.........rather than just having a surface weld

hey capt do you think you should add 2 gussets on the bottom like you did on the top? besides that i really like your design nice job

i wont be pullin for another 2 years but can you but a hitch like that or do you have to make it yourself?
