who here is pullin with an auto trans.....i've made the switch over to an auto and just wondering who else is using one now

 

i got an auto, i put it in 3 and put the transfer case in 4 low

 

Auto here with full manual VB... 4-Low in teh Transfer Case. shift it 1-2-3-2

 

im using one on a hope and a prayer.........

 

They have pulls at the local fair... I have an auto too but dont have 3rd?! I have 1-2-D? Are you referring to D as 3rd? What should i expect from a STOCK 24v? I have really no mods except muffler delete, bhaf, and a holley black LP. I have never pulled before.... Ever.

 

Well I would pull you tranny down into 1 so that it applys all the bands, Put the TC in 4lo and shift it maunauly, With a stock truck you will have fun, dont expect to win but have a good time, If i went to pulls looking to win I would have given up ALONG time ago.

 

dont plan on winning with a stocker, but thats how the first time i pulled, and had an adrenaline rush like never before. the two times since that i have pulled, and each time you will do a little better, and love it just the same.

 

ed there is a pull in thayer mo saturday night should be a few trucks there....you should come over

 

dont have no one to watch the kids or i would deffinately be there, although i wouldnt be pulling. i cant afford to break again this year.

 

yeah i wont be pullin till about Aug but i'm gonna go watch
